On-Site Safety Training

HEALTHPOINTE addresses workplace safety with specific classes designed to improve and maximize employers’ basic responses to injury, sickness and alcohol/drug abuse. With as few as 10 participants, onsite safety training is available onsite or at all HEALTHPOINTE locations.

Most injuries are a result of accidents, which take their toll on both company and employee resources in addition to creating unnecessary pain and suffering. Employee sickness on-the-job requires a response from the employer while medical treatment is sought. Drug and alcohol abuse not only contributes to a dangerous work environment, but negatively impacts the psychological and emotional wellbeing of other employees and creates a toxic environment.

The following safety training classes are offered in both English and Spanish:

• Adult CPR training
• Basic first aid
• Workplace drug & alcohol awareness training
• Bloodborne pathogen training
• Ergonomic workplace assessment

All classes are taught by Red Cross certified instructors, and certification for CPR and first aid classes is through the Red Cross.

Classes can be customized for our clients’ specific workplace issues, and additional classes are continually developed by our skilled medical professionals.

HEALTHPOINTE has an extensive occupational and safety video library available to our clients. Topics include back safety, first aid, material handling safety, industrial ergonomics, hearing conservation, eye safety and more.
